Financial Position of Hongkong compared with that of the Straits Settlements.
The following Tabular statements are attached.
1. A statement showing the revenue of Hongkong for 1900, and the estimated revenue of Hongkong 1902 compared with the revenue of the various divisions of the Straits Settlements, including the Municipal Revenue of the Straits Settlements for 1899; also a statement A showing the average contributions per head of population, to the revenue of the respective colonies.
2. A statement showing the expenditure of Hongkong for 1900, and the estimated expenditure for 1902, compared with the expenditure of the Straits Settlements for 1900 including the Municipal Expenditure for 1899 (the returns for 1900 not being available).
3. A statement showing methods by which the revenue of the Colony of Hongkong might be increased in the near future.
